At Smart energi we aim to offer accurate quotations and financial returns remotely, in most cases we only need to visit your property/site if in principle you are happy with our initial proposal.

When we carry out a remote survey for solar panels and battery storage we need to find your property online using Google maps so we can measure the roof space/area for consideration, this ensures we design the system to perform as efficiently as possible.

​

To accurately measure the savings and returns we need the property/site annual electricity consumption in kWh's (this is found on your electricity bill or for some commercial premises this could be half hourly billing (even better) please upload when completing the remote survey), we will also need the property/site consumption profile so please select the most relevant for your scenario on the Remote Survey form (you can always add a comment if needed).

Once we have all this information, we will be able to provide you with a detailed design with proposed system components. This could include solar panels, solar panel mounting system, inverter, battery, monitoring and control, how many panels we propose, how many batteries we propose etc... depending on what you're interested in.

We will also provide you with a comprehensive financial analysis highlighting your potential savings and returns should you decide to go ahead with a Smart energi proposal, finally of course you will receive an installation price.

If you are happy in principle with the proposal and accept your Price Quote we will arrange for a site survey to assess your roof/area and electrics to confirm suitability.

Following a successful survey, we will schedule the installation at a time to suit you.

Note - once we receive final payment on completion of the work we will issue you with all the paper work including your MCS certificate which you will need to claim the Smart Export Guarantee from your supplier.
